The great size and urban sprawl that makes Los Angeles so diverse also makes it difficult to explore. There are hundreds of incredible architectural treasures and hidden murals that can only be discovered by traversing the 469 square miles of vast landscape around this city.

Ian Wood, technologist and ariel videographer, has given us a a fresh perspective to roam the streets and see some of LA’s greatest landmarks, street art and architecture. His beautiful compilation of drone videos offers a new source of urban exploration.

“I continue to be awe struck by how much of this vast city I have partially or completely overlooked before undertaking this video. And like most voyages of discovery, I’ve realize there’s so much more to find.” says Wood.

Included with the video is a google map of each location in the video.

What we would like to see is a credit to the incredible artists who created the murals found in this video. If you recognize any of the artwork, please include the artists name, along with the time it appears in the video in the comments section below. The Culture List will compile this information and share it with the videographer!
